Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geophysics (Earth Science).
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles and advancement.
• Proven experience in petroleum exploration geology and seismic interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret geological data including well logs, cores and geophysical surveys.
• Develop geological models and maps of subsurface structures and stratigraphy.
• Identify hydrocarbon prospects based on geology and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with geophysicists to integrate seismic data and interpretations.
• Define reservoir characteristics with engineers and contribute to exploration strategy.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
• Maintain geological databases and ensure data quality.
