Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geochemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of petroleum geochemistry experience.
• Proficiency with GC-MS, IRMS, and Rock-Eval pyrolysis.
• Strong data interpretation and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform geochemical analyses on crude oils, natural gases, rock extracts, and source rocks.
• Interpret geochemical data to determine oil-source rock correlation, thermal maturity, and depositional environments.
• Develop and refine petroleum system models based on geochemical evidence.
• Assist exploration teams in identifying prospective basins and play concepts.
• Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to integrate geochemical findings into field development plans.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in petroleum geochemistry and analytical techniques.
