Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of progressive HSE management experience in Oil & Gas, chemical or petrochemical sectors.
Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE management systems.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
Experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigation and emergency response.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain the HSE management system for the facility.
Ensure compliance with national and international HSE regulations and standards.
Lead HSE audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
Manage incident investigations and root-cause analysis with preventive actions.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for staff and contractors.
Oversee emergency response planning and preparedness activities.
Manage environmental programs, waste, emissions, and pollution prevention.
Promote HSE culture and employee engagement across the organization.
Liaise with regulators, industry bodies and local communities on HSE matters.
Develop and manage the HSE budget and resources.
