Qualifications

• Matric NQF 5 in Short-Term Insurance required.
• RE5 (Regulatory Examination) required.
• DOFA confirmation required.
• Cardinal 360 experience beneficial.
• Minimum of 4 years' Personal Lines Underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business, renewals, and endorsements.
• Prepare and review quotations.
• Ensure underwriting activities comply with company standards and procedures.
• Manage policy amendments and client queries.
• Negotiate renewal terms and prepare renewal documentation.
• Calculate retentions and ensure profitable business retention.
• Review and maintain policy accuracy and exposure levels.
• Support sales teams in acquiring and retaining profitable business.
• Deliver exceptional client service and resolve escalated queries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
