Qualifications

• A degree in HR or a related discipline (psychology or law).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Comfort collaborating remotely through video calls and Microsoft Teams.
• Proactive mindset and interest in improving processes and ways of working.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across UK and SA.
• Excellent organisational skills and close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in HR administration or HR operations.
• Strong understanding of South African employment law.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including changes to terms and conditions of employment.
• Maintain accurate employee records with data integrity and policy compliance.
• Prepare HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and policies.
• Produce HR and recruitment reports for UK and SA teams.
• Complete compliance documentation, identity checks, and eligibility to work.
• Support recruitment by advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews, and screening candidates.
• Contribute to HR projects, audits, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Assist with employee-engagement activities and wider People team initiatives.
