Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy approval to onboarding.
  • Source, attract and assess candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and pipelines.
  • Coordinate interviews and communications to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across UK and SA.
  • Ensure recruitment activity complies with legislation, GDPR, policies, and right-to-work requirements.

Role Overview

In this role, you will working to bring high calibre talent to the firm through maintaining and streamlining current recruitment processes. As an essential member of the People team you will be managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the attraction, selection and onboarding of high-quality candidates, thus ensuring the delivery of an excellent candidate experience while supporting diversity, inclusion and employer branding initiatives.

This role is based in our Cape Town, working as part of a collaborative People team supporting UK and South Africa operations. You will work closely with colleagues across the UK and South Africa using Microsoft Teams, playing a key role in supporting all People in our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from vacancy approval through to offer acceptance and onboarding.

  • Source, attract and assess candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and talent pipelines.

  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications and selection activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while providing regular updates on recruitment activity and progress.

  • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with employment legislation, GDPR, company policies and right-to-work requirements.

  • Promote the organisation's employer brand through careers events, social media, apprenticeship, graduate and talent attraction initiatives.

  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and cost-per-hire. Use data to drive recruitment decisions and improve overall process efficiency.

What we need from you
  • Fluent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels both internally and externally

  • Comfortable collaborating via Video calls

  • A proactive mindset with the desire to improve processes and ways of working.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to build relationships across the UK and South Africa.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience in a recruitment role is essential

  • Previous working experience in financial services industry, particularly UK would be advantageous

  • Desirable: Qualified Psychometrist (or equivalent recognised qualification) with the ability to administer and interpret psychometric assessments used within South Africa and/or the UK.
