Job summary

Shoprite Group of Companies in Cape Town seeks a People Delivery Specialist to manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll and employee relations, ensuring compliant and efficient HR processes. You will support workforce planning, training, and engagement to meet operational needs.

The role covers end-to-end HR activities, including reporting, governance, and stakeholder collaboration to drive the Transrite Basson Park operation. A HR qualification and 3+ years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Human Resources or People Delivery role.
• Knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Strong recruitment, payroll, and employee administration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end people management support across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, ER, training, and compliance.
• Manage attendance registers and payroll related documents.
• Oversee employee lifecycle matters and Driver learnerships.
• Support Graduate Trainee Programme and succession planning.
• Generate and present weekly/monthly productivity reports.
