Job summary

Flink Recruitment in Brakpan, Gauteng, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage weekly to monthly payroll using Sage 300. You will capture new hires, terminations and changes, maintain payroll records, and handle deductions, leaves and reports.

The role requires at least 3 years’ payroll experience, Sage 300 proficiency, and knowledge of SA payroll legislation. Transport/logistics exposure is advantageous and confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll administration experience.
• Practical experience using Sage 300.
• Sound knowledge of SA payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Experience in transport or logistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll using Sage 300.
• Capture new employees, terminations and information changes.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Process salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions and leave.
• Verify timesheets, attendance, overtime and shift information.
• Prepare payslips, payroll reports and payroll journals.
• Assist with EMP201/EMP501 reconciliations and submissions.
• Prepare IRP5 and IT3(a) certificates.
• Ensure compliance with SARS, UIF, COIDA and labour legislation.
