Job summary

Communicate Finance seeks an experienced payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll operations using Sage 300 People in Randburg. You will ensure statutory compliance and accurate payroll records, supporting audit requirements and high-volume processing.

The role covers onboarding/offboarding payroll activation, benefits administration, and responding to payroll-related queries with a high level of service delivery. Diploma or degree required.

Qualifications

• Preparation and submission of statutory payroll requirements (PAYE, UIF, SDL, COIDA, EMP201/EMP501).
• End-to-end payroll processing using Sage 300 People (monthly payroll, weekly wages, deductions, leave, promotions, terminations).
• Payroll reconciliations, reporting and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities in relation to payroll activation and documentation.
• Maintain accurate payroll data including banking details, allowances and cost allocations.
• Handle payroll-related queries and ESS functionality for employees and management.
• Assist Payroll Manager with month-end processes, audits, and process improvements.
