Job summary

Hired Recruitment (Pty) Ltd in Sandton is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage monthly payroll in a fast-paced wholesale and retail environment. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, confidentiality, and full compliance with South African payroll legislation, including BCEA.

Sage 300 Payroll experience is non‑negotiable. 3–5 years’ experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP201 are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll administrator experience.
• Sage 300 Payroll experience is non-negotiable.
• Experience in Wholesale & Retail payroll considered an asset.
• Knowledge of BCEA and South African payroll legislation.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain payroll records and data accuracy.
• Handle appointments, terminations, salary changes and payroll changes.
• Compute overtime, leave, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
• Ensure compliance with BCEA and labour laws.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations.
• Address payroll queries professionally and liaise with HR/Finance.
