Job summary

Super Group is seeking a Payroll Governance and Transformation Specialist to advance payroll from accurate processing to a controlled, automated function. You’ll own payroll controls, drive automation, and deliver analytics that bolster senior management confidence across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Fully functional knowledge and experience of PaySpace; working knowledge of Workday for HR and finance processes.
• Demonstrable experience designing and operating payroll/financial controls in a SOX or equivalent internal-control environment.
• Strong understanding of data protection requirements (POPIA/GDPR) and access-management practices.
• Experience with multi-jurisdiction payroll and tax regulations; ability to implement automation and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees using PaySpace and Workday.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax laws and statutory obligations.
• Maintain payroll controls framework across all entities with SoD and SOX alignment.
• Develop payroll dashboards and analytics in Power BI for exec decision-making.
• Lead automation initiatives and governance for payroll processes and reconciliations.
