Job summary

Amana Living at Kinross Care Centre Lake House is seeking a part-time clinical leader to oversee resident care. The role involves clinical assessments, safe medication administration, falls prevention, and ensuring accurate care planning and documentation while supervising daily care delivery.

You will mentor care staff, provide ongoing coaching, and uphold Aged Care Standards and Risk Management. Essential: current AHPRA registration, flu vaccination, clearances, and willingness to attend paid

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration with nursing credentials.
• Vaccination against flu per Amana Living policies.
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance within 6 months validity.
• NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks.
• Knowledge of the resident classification scale, accreditation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive reviews of residents through clinical assessments.
• Safely administer medication to residents.
• Falls management and prevention.
• Complete documentation for residents ensuring accurate care planning and relevant supporting documents.
• Supervise the delivery of care plans on a daily basis.
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to the care staff.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety in line with Aged Care Standards and Risk Management.
