Job summary

Kinross Care Centre Lake House in Australia is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Carer for part-time shifts totaling 34.5 hours per fortnight. You will provide compassionate personal care, support daily living activities, and administer medications within the residents’ care plans.

Induction and ongoing training are provided to support your professional growth. The role requires empathy, strong teamwork, and a commitment to preserving residents’ dignity and quality of life in a caring

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
• Effective communication skills and ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.
• Previous experience administering medications.
• Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview).
• Evidence of current Flu vaccination.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Available to attend a compulsory 4 day induction at Rivervale Training Institute.

Responsibilities

• Support resident’s physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualised care delivery
• Assist with resident’s care needs in line with their care plan
• Collaborate with team members to promote a harmonious working environment
• Support and advocate the rights of older people
• Assist with personal hygiene, showering and toileting
• Assist with activities of daily living, dressing and grooming
• Assist at meal times including feeding
• Administer medication
