Job summary

Amana Living is seeking caring Community Support Workers to help older people live safely and independently at home in Western Australia. You’ll provide personal care, meal prep, social support, shopping assistance, and transport, with flexible rosters including part-time and casual opportunities.

You will need a National Police Clearance (within 6 months), flu vaccination, a valid driver’s licence, and access to a WA-registered vehicle with full insurance.

Qualifications

• Current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
• Evidence of an up-to-date flu vaccination.
• A current driver’s licence.
• Access to a reliable WA-registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and reference checks.
• Availability to attend a 2 week induction program (5 days at Rivervale site).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks to promote comfort and independence.
• Provide social support, companionship and transport for clients in their homes.
• Support with shopping and accompanying duties; assist with medication where required.
