Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd in Roodepoort is seeking a Paraplanner to support a financial adviser with planning, ROA drafting and client review packs. The role requires 2–3 years’ paraplanning or related experience, strong knowledge of investments, retirement and estate planning, and FAIS/FSCA compliance.

Fluency in Afrikaans and English is essential. Proficiency with MS Excel and CRM systems is required to manage client information and documentation.

PARAPLANNER

R42 000 CTC PER MONTH / DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in a paraplanning, financial advice support, or related role within financial services
• Solid understanding of investment, retirement, risk, and estate planning principles
• Familiarity with FAIS/FSCA compliance requirements and Record of Advice documentation
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English, both spoken and written - client base requires full bilingual competency
• Gather and analyse client financial information (Income, expenses, assets, liabilities, insurance, investments, retirement provisions)
• Prepare comprehensive financial plans, cash flow models, and investment/risk recommendations for adviser review
• Conduct product and fund research and comparisons across providers
• Draft Records of Advice (ROA) and other compliance documentation in line with FAIS/FSCA requirements
• Liaise with product providers to obtain quotes, illustrations, and policy documentation
• Prepare client review packs and support annual review meetings
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records on the practice management/CRM system
• Ensure all advice documentation meets internal compliance and regulatory standards
• Supporting the adviser with implementation of advice and other admin duties
• Prepare annual tax and provisional tax calculations
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with financial planning software advantageous
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Well organised, able to manage multiple client files and deadlines
• Team player, comfortable working closely with an adviser under pressure
• Discreet and professional in handling confidential client information
