Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a junior UX/UI Designer intern to join its fully remote team. You will gain hands-on experience across the design process, from research and wireframing to prototyping and user testing, under the guidance of senior designers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and design thinking methodologies.
• Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting user research, gathering feedback, and analyzing user behavior to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Support the design of intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences under the mentorship of senior designers.
• Participate in usability testing sessions and contribute to design iteration based on findings.
• Collaborate with the product and development teams in a remote setting, learning and applying design best practices.
