Job summary

Dante Personnel seeks an experienced Packhouse Manager in South Africa to oversee daily packhouse operations, sorting, grading, packing and production processes, ensuring efficient planning and time management.

The successful candidate will train and supervise seasonal staff, lead teams to achieve productivity and quality targets, monitor performance, ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, traceability and export standards, and manage budgets and costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ packhouse management experience (stone fruit preferred).
• Expertise in South African agricultural compliance and export protocols (BRCGS, SIZA etc).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in packhouse software and documentation systems.
• Willingness to work hours as per industry and seasonal requirements.
• Must have own reliable transport.
