Staffworx Recruitment is seeking a Citrus Packhouse Manager for Limpopo to oversee overall performance of the citrus packhouse, including production, people, quality, cost control and compliance management. You will drive packhouse programs, productivity, and ensure alignment with local and export market requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, planning, and a proven track record in citrus packhouse operations to deliver high-quality results across the packing season.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ proven management experience in a citrus packhouse environment.
• Strong understanding of citrus packhouse operations, production planning and local and export market requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for packhouse operations, including programmes, productivity, throughput, quality, and achievement of local and export requirements.
• Ensure the packhouse operates in compliance with applicable legislation, food safety, and environmental requirements.
• Take overall accountability for performance, discipline and operational accountability.
• Quality, traceability, food safety and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintenance readiness and operational improvement.
• Manage and develop staff, ensuring effective leadership, training, and performance management.
• Manage packhouse budgets, forecasting and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet export and local market requirements.
• Maintain production unit and site readiness and performance for the following packing season.
