Job summary

Danone SA packaging manufacturing site is seeking a maintenance and reliability leader to promote best-in-class methods and ensure equipment performance from end to end. You will drive preventive programs, interpret schematics, and leverage CMMS/SAP to optimize maintenance and compliance across the plant.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance and reliability, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication to align cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in maintenance and reliability management.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and failure-detection tools.
• Experience with CMMS and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement maintenance methodology and reliability engineering end to end.
• Ensure compliance with legal and EHS requirements.
• Promote equipment performance and QFS across the site.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to optimize maintenance.

Implement best in class maintenance methodology and reliability engineering to promote legal & other requirements, equipment performance, QFS and EHS from end to end at Danone SA packaging manufacturing site

About You

Key Skills/Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree or Nationa Diploma (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 5+ years’ experience in maintenance and reliability management role
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and the tools associated with failure detection (i.e. vibration analysis, oil monitoring, thermography).
• Minimum 3 years maintenance and reliability, production management, engineering or operations experience.
• Relevant reliability management experience.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) – ideally SAP

This is a highly visible position within Danone; you will interact with Internal - Marketing, Sales Supply chain, SSD and External - Suppliers, CO-packers. Challenge, innovate, convince and find alignment when needed. This role has no direct reports.
