Job summary

Danone SA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner/Stores Controller to implement CMMS and manage inventory governance within the engineering division at the Danone SA manufacturing site. The role focuses on promoting compliance with standards, optimizing stock levels and coordinating maintenance activities across teams.

Ideal candidates will bring 3–5 years in maintenance planning and stores management in manufacturing, with CMMS/ERP experience and a strong eye for data integrity and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in maintenance planning and engineering stores management within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Proven experience in engineering stores management, maintenance planning and scheduling including preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience with CMMS systems (preferably SAP PM) and ERP for work order management, planning and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in shutdown planning, backlog management and resource coordination.
• Exposure to food safety, EHS standards and statutory compliance within a plant environment.
• Experience with automated production systems and modern plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implement best in class CMMS and Inventory governance in the engineering division to promote compliance with Danone SA standards.
• Ensure correct stock levels and that all inventory procedures, stock and non-stock purchases are executed properly.
• Coordinate maintenance planning, scheduling and reporting to optimize asset care and reliability.
• Lead or support shutdown planning and resource coordination to minimize downtime and production losses.
• Maintain CMMS data integrity and generate reporting for cross-functional stakeholders.

About The Job

Implement best in class CMMS and Inventory management and governance in engineering division to promote legal & other requirements, equipment performance, QFS and EHS from end to end at Danone SA manufacturing site. Ensure the correct stock levels are kept, and all inventory procedures, stock and non-stock purchases are executed in accordance with Danone SA standards.

About You

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Supply Chain or equivalent).
• Trade Test qualification (advantageous).
• SAP PM / CMMS certification or formal training (advantageous). Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in maintenance planning and engineering stores management within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proven experience in engineering stores management, maintenance planning and scheduling, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Experience working with CMMS systems (preferably SAP PM) and ERP for work order management, planning, and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in shutdown planning, backlog management, and resource coordination.
• Exposure to food safety, EHS standards, and statutory compliance within a plant environment.
• Experience in working with automated production systems and modern plant equipment.

Technical Knowledge and Strong understanding of:

• Maintenance planning and scheduling principles
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies
• Reliability concepts (MTBF, MTTR, asset care strategies)
• Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
• Lifecycle asset management
• Knowledge of spares management and criticality assessments.
• Understanding of condition monitoring techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
• Familiarity with engineering documentation (P&IDs, OEM manuals, SOPs). Key Skills

• Analytical and problem-solving ability with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
