Job summary

The South African Breweries is seeking a Maintenance Planner to drive TPM and scheduling in our packaging and manufacturing environment in South Africa. You will generate and manage maintenance plans, coordinate with production, engineering and support teams to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) required.
• 3–5 years production engineering with 3 years supervisory experience.
• Brewing and packaging plant knowledge an advantage.
• PC literate; proficient with office applications.

Responsibilities

• Generate routine maintenance schedules using the maintenance planning system.
• Allocate resources and generate works orders for schedules.
• Communicate schedules to production, engineering and support teams.
• Verify routine maintenance completion and autonomous tasks.
• Provide feedback on efficiency and highlight non-compliance problems.
• Participate in commissioning or changes to maintenance systems.
• Plan maintenance work and generate required reports, including SAP reports.
• Capture and verify data on maintenance systems; analyze failure modes.
• Lead planned maintenance pre- and post-meetings; reschedule unfinished work.
