Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa seeks a Maintenance Controller to lead the maintenance team and ensure reliability of production assets.

The role covers preventive and breakdown maintenance, CMMS/SAP PM data integrity, and driving continuous improvement.

You will coach technicians, manage schedules, and support safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: N6 Certificate or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering
• Trade Test as an Artisan (Mechanical, Electrical or Millwright)
• Preferred: BTech in Engineering or equivalent industrial/technical qualification
• 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment
• Proven experience working with CMMS, TPM/RCM and Lean practices

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Execution and Oversight: Ensure planned and unplanned maintenance activities are executed effectively and within required timeframes.
• Assign and monitor daily maintenance tasks, job cards, and technician deployment.
• Ensure all breakdowns are resolved quickly and that root causes are identified and addressed.
