AB InBev Africa in South Africa seeks a Packaging Engineer to drive asset care, reliability and optimisation in the packaging hall. You will lead a technical team, ensure safety and cost-effective production, and align maintenance plans with production needs for high uptime.

You will develop team goals, oversee training, and implement continuous improvement initiatives while complying with OSH and SAB policies. This is a Packaging Pipeline Advertisement.

Qualifications

• BSc Engineering or equivalent engineering degree.
• Government Certificate of Competence would be highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Production Maintenance Management with deep asset management expertise.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing people.

Responsabilités

• Lead asset care planning and execution for the packaging hall, aligning with engineering team goals.
• Ensure asset care compliance, training, and budget controls within the packaging hall.
• Oversee plant reliability, maintenance planning and data integrity.
• Drive plant optimisation, evaluate improvements and sign off modifications.
• Provide team leadership, performance reviews, and training plans.
• Enforce safety, housekeeping and legal compliance in all tasks.
