Job summary

SAB is seeking a qualified engineer at Alrode Brewery to ensure optimum utilization of plant, raw materials and people, producing quality products at minimum cost meeting customer expectations.

The role focuses on asset care, reliability, and leadership of the engineering team to drive asset care, implement optimization trials, and develop team goals for continuous improvement in the packaging hall.

Responsibilities

• Asset care - Partake in the development of the asset care plan for the packaging hall, contributing suggestions and providing expert advice.
• Responsible for the overall reliability and up-time of the packaging hall; lead the engineering team in the provisioning of asset care and engineering.
• Takes part in the Regional and Central Office plant optimization trials, providing advice, assistance and guidance where required.
• Lead the engineering team in a manner that engenders ownership, empowerment and team interaction; develop engineering team goals and action plans.
