AB InBev in South Africa seeks a Packaging Engineer to oversee asset care, reliability and optimisation of the packaging hall. You will lead the engineering team, manage budgets and drive cost-efficient, compliant improvements in a high-speed production environment.

Responsibilities include asset care planning, maintenance validation, data integrity checks and implementing continuous improvement with cross-functional teams to boost plant performance.

Qualificações

• Minimum Requirements: BSc Engineering or equivalent
• Govt Certificate of Competence would be highly advantageous
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Production Maintenance Management with deep expertise in asset management
• Experience of managing and running a high-speed packaging line highly advantageous
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing people

Responsabilidades

• Develop asset care plan for the packaging hall and ensure its implementation
• Lead the engineering team in asset care and maintenance activities
• Audit compliance to the asset care programme and ensure data integrity
• Drive safety and housekeeping, ensuring compliance with OSH acts
• Lead the engineering team to improve plant reliability and performance
• Coach and conduct regular performance reviews for engineers
