Placements24, on behalf of a prestigious wine estate in Paarl, seeks a Wine Tourism Experience Curator to design and deliver immersive wine experiences. The role blends creativity with business sense, requiring collaboration with winemaking, marketing and hospitality teams.

You will craft tours, tastings, and exclusive events, while leading staff training and guest services to elevate the estate’s guest experience and attract visitors from around the world.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in wine tourism, hospitality management or event curation.
• Knowledge of wine production, varietals and tasting techniques.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver unique wine tasting experiences, vineyard and cellar tours.
• Curate exclusive events such as harvest celebrations and educational workshops.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote wine tourism offerings and packages.
• Ensure guest experiences reflect the estate’s brand and quality.
• Train hospitality and tasting-room staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Manage bookings and logistics for wine tourism activities.
• Gather feedback and continuously improve experiences.
• Stay updated on wine-tourism trends and experiential marketing.
• Contribute to new tourism products and revenue streams.
• Share estate wines, history and terroir with guests in Paarl.
