Job summary

JVR Software is seeking an organised Logistics Administrator to support outbound operations in South Africa. You will plan and oversee the delivery process, verify PODs, monitor KPI reporting and collaborate with transport providers and customers to ensure on-time arrivals.

The role requires 1–3 years’ experience in outbound logistics, strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel. You will contribute to stock management, GI processing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in outbound logistics, POD administration or freight forwarding.
• Experience with logistics or warehouse management systems (WMS/TMS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the outbound delivery process from planning through to final settlement.
• Coordinate and monitor POD processes, including POD verification, reconciliation, and KPI reporting.
• Monitor and investigate failed deliveries, delays, shortages, overages and outstanding shipments.
• Manage SIT reports, ageing stock, pending deliveries and delivery status updates.
• Liaise with transport providers, warehouses and customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Monitor GI processes and system interfaces for timely processing.
• Investigate logistics system exceptions and errors.
• Assist with inventory management, quarterly stock counts and irregularity reporting.
• Maintain logistics records, performance reports and outbound cost reporting.
• Ensure logistics KPIs and customer service levels are achieved.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within outbound logistics.
