Job summary

CoSauce is hiring Business Development Representatives to build sales pipeline for our clients in Canada and the US. The role is daily outbound prospecting; you research target businesses and start conversations by phone, email and LinkedIn, then qualify prospects and book meetings for the client’s sales team.

You will work 15:00 to 00:00 SAST from our Hyde Park office in Johannesburg. Requirements include 1–3 years in BDR/SDR or outbound roles, clear spoken English, proficiency with CRM tools

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years in a BDR, SDR, inside sales or outbound calling role (B2B preferred).
• Clear spoken English and a confident phone manner.
• Working knowledge of a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho.
• Comfortable working to daily activity numbers.
• Able to work 15:00 to 00:00 SAST from our Hyde Park office.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily outbound cadence by phone, email and LinkedIn against target accounts.
• Re-engage older leads and past enquiries.
• Qualify interest and book meetings for the client's account executives.
• Keep CRM activity, notes and next steps up to date every day.
• Learn each client's product well enough to talk about it with confidence.
• Hit your activity and meeting targets, and share what is working with your team leader.
