Job summary

Abantu Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead the operational plan, budget, and store policies across multiple sites in the Eastern Cape. You will visit stores, analyse performance, drive P&L results, and implement action plans to close gaps while promoting omni-channel sales and national campaigns.

You will coach Area Managers, manage development plans, oversee training metrics, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and build strong relationships

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• BCom or relevant degree, or 5 years' experience at Area Manager level with proven performance.
• QSR industry experience is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee the operational business plan and budget, working with stakeholders.
• Visit stores regularly to check policies, procedures and compliance.
• Analyse store performance against the Balanced Scorecard and budget, and put action plans in place to close gaps.
• Analyse P&L statements and drive sales, profit and promotions, including national campaigns and omni-channel sales.
• Coach and develop Area Managers, manage succession planning, and run development plans and annual 360 evaluations.
• Oversee training metrics, IR incidents and employment legislation compliance, and chair IR meetings where needed.
• Review customer complaint trends and make sure store equipment and structures are maintained.
• Support new store openings and revamps.
• Build relationships with the franchisor, municipal councils, unions and landlords.
• Present quarterly business reviews and competitor analysis to senior management.
