Qualifications

• Diploma in mining/mechanical/explosives engineering or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Blasting Certificate MQA and an advanced blasting course.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual business planning and management of finances, employees and objectives.
• Compile and execute business strategy to grow new business for BME.
• Manage operations service delivery across the value chain to create value.
• Control stock, orders, shipping and related costs.
• Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act, OHS Act and SHERQ.
• Lead HR processes and development across the team.
• Monitor finances to meet strategic objectives and maintain budgets.
• Maintain assets and equipment per procedures.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure audits and investigations are conducted.
