Job summary

Lotus HR and Recruitment seeks an experienced operations leader to drive strategic and operational initiatives across multiple sites and projects in the Western Cape. You will lead performance, budgeting, project execution and risk management while engaging customers and stakeholders to achieve profitability targets.

The role requires a strong background in construction/infrastructure projects, SHEQ compliance, procurement and workforce leadership, with a proven track record in senior operations

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Ability to drive strategic and operational initiatives across multiple sites and projects.
• Lead operational performance, resource planning, budgeting, project execution, risk management, customer engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge in operational management, commercial project delivery, contract management, workforce leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of construction/infrastructure projects, SHEQ compliance, labour relations, procurement processes, asset utilisation and best practices.
• Proven track record in senior operations leadership, business growth and profitability targets in project-driven environments.

• You will have completed a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or a related field.
• You must be able to work independently, driving strategic and operational initiatives across multiple sites and projects
• You will be responsible for leading operational performance, resource planning, budgeting, project execution, risk management, customer engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• You will have solid working knowledge and expertise in operational management, commercial project delivery, contract management, workforce leadership, financial oversight and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of construction and infrastructure projects, SHEQ compliance, labour relations, procurement processes, asset utilisation and operational best practices.
  You will have a proven track record in senior operations leadership, business growth, team development and achieving profitability targets within a project-driven environment.
