Job summary

You will supervise dispatch, receiving, and driver teams, drive inventory accuracy, monitor performance against SLAs, and enforce OHS and PPE protocols while guiding daily team operations and staff performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics or operations management with proven leadership experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation and site safety management.
• Strong organizational skills, staff supervision, and audit discipline (cycle counts and variance analysis).
• Knowledge of stock systems and basic financial controls.

POSITION INFO

Manages warehouse, logistics, and customer support operations at the branch level to ensure service excellence and stock accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise dispatch, receiving, stock control, and driver teams


• Oversee branch stocktake and inventory accuracy


• Monitor logistics performance, shift allocations, and on-time delivery SLAs


• Manage support staff, customer collection areas, and third-party couriers


• Lead daily team operations, foster employee engagement, and manage staff performance


• Enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, conduct risk assessments, and maintain daily housekeeping


• Enforce PPE protocols, oversee Material Handling Equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safety, and investigate workplace incidents

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years in logistics or operations management with proven leadership and supervisory experience


• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation, compliance, and site safety management


• Strong organizational skills, staff supervision, and audit discipline (cycle counts and root-cause variance analysis)


• Knowledge of stock systems and basic financial controls


• Leadership experience and formal knowledge/experience in OHS are strict minimum criteria for this position. Only candidates who fully meet all essential requirements will be considered for this role.
