Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics or operations management with leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation, compliance, and site safety management.
• Excellent organizational skills with staff supervision and an audit discipline (cycle counts and root-cause variance analysis).
• Knowledge of stock systems and basic financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dispatch, receiving, stock control, and driver teams.
• Oversee branch stocktake and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor logistics performance, shift allocations, and on-time delivery SLAs.
• Manage support staff, customer collection areas, and third-party couriers.
• Lead daily team operations, foster employee engagement, and manage staff performance.
• Enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, conduct risk assessments, and maintain daily housekeeping.
• Enforce PPE protocols, oversee material handling equipment safety, and investigate workplace incidents.
