Alexforbes in Johannesburg seeks an experienced Administration Manager to lead the Retail FPC administration team and drive operational excellence, delivering compliant, high-quality support to Financial Advisers and clients.

You will coach Financial Adviser Assistants, optimize workflows across investments, retirement, risk and fiduciary administration, and partner with regional leaders to raise service standards in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Administration, Financial Planning, Operations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' management experience within financial services, wealth management or financial planning administration.
• Proven experience leading client service or administration teams.
• Strong knowledge of investments, retirement products, risk products, LISP platforms and advisor support operations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with adviser support systems, D365 and operational reporting tools will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Financial Adviser Assistants.
• Drive operational excellence across investment, retirement, risk and fiduciary administration.
• Manage service delivery, workflow optimisation, turnaround times and team productivity.
• Build strong relationships with Regional Executives, Regional Managers and Financial Advisers.
• Champion process improvement, digital adoption and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee governance, risk management and compliance with FAIS, FICA, POPIA and related regulatory requirements.
• Manage escalated adviser and client matters, ensuring exceptional service outcomes.
