Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Management Consultant to enhance operations and performance improvement for clients in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will diagnose inefficiencies, redesign core processes, and implement strategic solutions to boost productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.

The role requires lean/Six Sigma expertise, strong analytical skills, and client management abilities. Travel to client sites in and around Nelspruit is expected, with a Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in operations consulting, process improvement, or related industry roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results under pressure.
• Experience working with diverse client stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements in and around Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, combined with a Hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational assessments and diagnose root causes of underperformance.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, lean management, and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Design and re-engineer business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead project workstreams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client personnel.
• Analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and support decision-making.
• Manage client relationships and communicate progress and findings effectively.
• Contribute to business development efforts and proposal writing.
• Stay current with best practices in operations management and performance improvement.
