Job summary

ARVO, a growing manufacturing startup in Cape Town, is seeking a hands-on procurement and operations coordinator. You will sit at the center of supply, stock, production, sales and dispatch, ensuring items are ordered, tracked, and dispatched accurately.

Responsibilities span purchasing, inventory control, production liaison, and order fulfilment, with a strong emphasis on organisation, data accuracy, and independent initiative.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and supplier management.
• Experience with inventory control and stock reconciliation.
• Exposure to manufacturing or production environments.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place, track and follow up on purchase orders with local and international suppliers.
• Request quotations and chase lead times and deliveries.
• Capture vendor bills and reconcile against POs.
• Maintain supplier records and documents (invoices, delivery notes).
• Support import and freight coordination.
