Job summary

Wine.Co.Za is seeking a motivated Short-Term Insurance Broker in South Africa to drive new business and provide expert insurance advice. You will build relationships with clients, tailor coverage, and present quotations from multiple providers in a face-to-face setting.

The successful candidate will manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently hit monthly targets and will work with inbound leads provided by our center.

Qualifications

• Matriculation certificate
• RE5 certification
• NQF4/5 with 120 credits
• Class of business certificates for personal and commercial lines
• Experience in handling both personal and commercial lines
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license

Job Title: Short - Term Insurance Broker

Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated, target-driven, and experienced Short-Term Broker to join our growing team and provide exceptional service to our clients. They will play a vital role in generating new business, building relationships with client, and providing expert insurance advice and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieving monthly minimum targets in new business
• Identifying client needs and offering insurance coverage tailored to their specific requirements.
• Obtaining quotations from a range of insurance providers.
• Conducting face-to-face discussions with clients.
• Provide clients with accurate and comprehensive advice regarding their insurance needs.
• Maintaining a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities to consistently achieve monthly targets.
• Note that cold calling and lead sourcing are not part of the broker's daily responsibilities, leads are provided through inbound contact centre agents and liaisons with life, tax, and billing departments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matriculation certificate.
• RE5 certification.
• Relevant NQF4 level 4 or 5 qualification with a minimum of 120 credits.
• Class of business certificates for both personal and commercial lines.
• Proven experience in handling both personal and commercial lines.
• Own vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license.
