Job summary

Smollan in South Africa seeks an experienced operations systems professional to lead the design, implementation and management of business processes and information systems across the value chain.

You will collaborate with BU and group stakeholders, map requirements, drive improvements, ensure data integrity, manage SLAs and deliver insights through reporting and analytics to support strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree/NQF level 7 in Information systems or Business Intelligence.
• 6-8 years’ experience in FMCG within a systems, analytical environment, and 3 years business and project management experience.
• Computer literacy - MS Office suite; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design and implement effective processes and systems within operations, technology and informatics.
• Review current processes and systems to understand business information and how systems integrate.
• Liaise with stakeholders to establish and address needs to develop outputs.
• Manage and approve system projects to ensure quality and data integrity.
• Plan, design and implement new processes and systems in line with client and business approved needs.
• Facilitate and/or manage the implementation of processes and systems.
• Monitor and maintain processes and systems to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
• Manage SLA requirements.
• Set up training materials and conduct and record all training on new systems.
• Audit processes and systems to ensure business needs are met.
• Sustain and plan for systems and processes enhancements.
• Represent and effect on behalf of Business Unit at Smollan Group Projects and Clients.
• Define a BU/ Group OI strategy (short term).
