Job summary

Maersk in Johannesburg is seeking a Warehouse IT/OT Technology Associate to provide on-site support for end-user devices, RF scanners, printers, and warehouse systems. You will own first-line incident response and maintain the tech stack while coordinating with remote teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT infrastructure support, strong WLAN, VPN/Citrix, Windows 11, and ITIL/CCNA foundations; readiness to travel to other warehouses as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on IT infrastructure support in logistics/warehousing environments.
• Experience with end-user devices, printers and OT/IT peripherals.
• Good understanding of WLAN/Wi‑Fi and network basics (routers/switches).
• On-site support for incident response, deployments, and changes.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing and meeting SLA targets.
• Willingness to travel to other warehouses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own first-line response and recovery for OT incidents impacting operations (RF, connectivity, edge devices).
• Provide triage and rapid escalation to AOT.
• Maintain warehouse tech stack (devices, connectivity, locally deployed systems).
• Occasionally lead on-site deployments and changes as needed.
• Deliver real-time visibility of issues, root causes, and recurring failures to engineering.
