Job summary

Medipost in Johannesburg, South Africa, seeks a qualified pharmacist to ensure patient safety in chemotherapy compounding and to maintain compliance with GPP and regulatory standards. You will review bookings, manage stock, and support clinical trial processes, with overtime as needed.

The candidate must be SAPC-registered with at least 2 years of pharmacy experience and a solid understanding of the Pharmacy Act. Training on Medipost systems (MHRS, ESS) will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered pharmacist with SAPC and have at least 2 years of professional experience.
• Good knowledge of the Pharmacy Act and regulatory requirements.
• Completion of MHRS and ESS system training is required.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing patient booking lists and confirming treatment on hand for compounding.
• Receiving and monitoring stock against booking lists; escalate any discrepancies.
• Chemotherapy compounding and support for the clinical trial process within scope.
• Return of unused or canceled treatment for credit per SLA and returns policy.
• Ensure compliance with GPP, POPI, OHS and ISO standards; assist with audits.
