Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking an experienced onboard incinerator technician for our cruise operations. You will operate, monitor, and maintain all incinerator systems to comply with environmental regulations while working as part of the ship's engineering team.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and record-keeping, with a rotating/on-call schedule and international travel as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with incinerator systems on vessels.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to incinerator operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work on rotating schedule and be on call for emergencies.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all onboard incinerator systems and monitor processes.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair incinerator equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs.
• Keep records of maintenance and repairs performed on incinerator systems.
• Coordinate schedules with the Chief Engineer and crew.
• Follow safety protocols while working on incinerator systems.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and propose improvements as needed.
