Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking an Incinerator Technician to perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of onboard incinerator systems on our vessels.

The role requires reading technical manuals, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and training crew members in proper incinerator operation and waste management practices. Travel and marine environment work are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical marine training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an incinerator technician on board a vessel.
• Knowledge of incinerator systems and waste regulations.
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in a marine environment.

• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times
• Coordinate with port authorities and regulatory agencies for proper disposal of waste materials
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and regulations related to incineration and waste management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in marine engineering or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Incinerator Technician on board a vessel or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of incinerator systems and waste management regulations

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
