Placements24 in Paarl is seeking a hands-on On-Site Technical Specialist to install, configure, and commission advanced equipment at client sites across Paarl and surrounding areas. You will be the primary technical contact during installation, performing setup, testing, training client personnel, and initial troubleshooting to ensure a smooth transition to operation.

Regular travel and flexible hours are required to meet client needs.

Qualifications

Experience in technical installation, service, or related field.
Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals and specs.
Excellent troubleshooting and customer interaction skills.
Willingness to travel regularly to client locations and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site installations, configurations, and commissioning of specialized equipment.
Conduct testing and calibration to ensure systems function per specifications.
Provide initial technical training and support to client personnel on equipment operation.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues promptly and efficiently.
Document installation activities, service reports, and client feedback accurately.
