Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Specialized Equipment Installer to manage setup and configuration of complex equipment in the Paarl area. The role blends hands-on installation with remote support and system checks to ensure devices operate to client specifications.

You will install, calibrate, test equipment, perform diagnostics, train clients, and collaborate with sales and engineering to drive projects.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining specialized technical equipment.
• Proficient with tools used in technical installations.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and methodical approach.
• Effective communication for client interaction and remote support.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and test specialized equipment according to technical documentation and project plans.
• Perform diagnostic checks and troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Provide remote assistance and guidance for system setup and initial operation.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including equipment status and client sign-offs.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
