You will apply ISO 9001 and Six Sigma methodologies, mentor teams, and collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with focus on quality management and process improvement.
• Proven experience with ISO 9001 standards and implementation; Six Sigma knowledge (Green Belt preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) across manufacturing operations.
• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze quality data to identify root causes of defects and implement CAPA.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Industrial Engineer to focus on Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement within their East London operations. This hybrid role requires a professional who can champion quality initiatives, drive process enhancements, and ensure adherence to the highest standards. You will be involved in implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits, and leading projects aimed at reducing defects and improving overall product and process reliability. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in industrial engineering principles coupled with a deep understanding of quality methodologies such as ISO 9001 and Six Sigma. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems (QMS) across manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with a specific focus on quality management and process improvement.
• Proven experience with ISO 9001 standards and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and experience leading improvement projects (Green Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and auditing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in a hybrid work setting, demonstrating adaptability and effective remote collaboration.
