Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer - Operations Analyst to join our client’s Welkom facilities. This on-site role focuses on enhancing efficiency through data-driven analysis and close collaboration with operations managers and frontline staff.

You will analyze complex data, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to boost productivity, reduce costs, and improve safety. A proactive, detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering or operations analysis within an industrial setting.
• Proficient in data analysis, statistical modeling, and process mapping.
• Experience with MS Excel (Advanced), SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous.
• Must be able to work on-site in Welkom.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes, workflows, and operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collect and interpret operational data using statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Create detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and projected outcomes.
• Work closely with site management and operational teams to implement process changes and ensure successful adoption.
• Monitor KPIs and provide regular performance feedback.
• Identify opportunities for automation and technology adoption to streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety.
• Conduct feasibility studies for proposed operational changes and new projects.
• Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation for operational improvement initiatives.
