You will handle preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, read schematics, and support safety and operational excellence in Gauteng's industrial environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with experience in industrial maintenance and familiarity with PLC systems and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot faults.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions in machinery and control systems promptly.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations, identifying potential hazards and areas for improvement.
• Manage electrical spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of new electrical equipment and technologies.
