You will lead preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and drive upgrades to electrical infrastructure while ensuring safety and production continuity.

The role requires a National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in an industrial setting, with strong PLC, motor control, and VSD

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade qualification.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs and VSDs.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all industrial electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions in machinery, control systems, and power distribution networks.
• Manage electrical spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Oversee electrical installation projects and modifications to existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and operators.
