Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to provide on-site support across the Queenstown region. You will install, commission, maintain, and repair electrical equipment at customer sites, travelling to client locations as required.

The role requires a trade qualification as an Electrician or equivalent, a minimum of 4 years in field service or technical support, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Electrician or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years in field service or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Queenstown area and surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission electrical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic testing on electrical machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults with timely solutions.
• Provide customer training and support on operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities, parts used, and time spent.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through professional conduct and expertise.
