Job summary

SA Metal Group seeks a skilled Training Facilitator/Assessor/Moderator to design, deliver and assess training programmes for staff. You will prepare lesson plans, facilitate courses, and ensure compliance with SAQA and SETA standards.

You must hold registrations with ETDP SETA and be familiar with driving machinery regulations. The role is permanent, based at our facilities in the Western Cape, with opportunities for career development and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Minimum 5 years experience in related field.
• Registered as Assessor and Moderator with TETA, CETA and HW SETA.
• Certified Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator with ETDP SETA.
• Knowledge of driven machinery regulations.
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and ensure training material, stationery and equipment are available and in excellent working order before the Training Session commences
• Facilitate, assess and moderate programmes according to SA Metal and SAQA best practices
• Provide administrative support and assist with learner registration process
• Ensure that delegates understand assessment questions and how to complete the assessment
• Create and nurture a positive learning environment that stimulates learning and motivates delegates
• Adhere strictly to all Occupational Health & Safety regulations as well regulations listed on National Code of Practice.
